Hi, my name is Christine (Hako-Oja) Hasenhündl.
Hako-Oja is my maiden name. It is Finnish and the 'j' is pronounced as a 'y'. 

Born in northern Ontario, I now reside in Edmonton, Alberta, and my studio is in Wainwright, Alberta (see map)

My love of pencil drawings and watercolour began at an early age and I continue to work in both mediums. With a preference for photo-real art, I focus on animals as the subject of my pencil drawings, whereas my watercolours usually depict golf course and nature scenes.

A desire to frame my own artwork was the beginning of the next step... becoming a professional custom picture framer. I truly enjoy the challenge of making everything that I frame look its absolute best.

I am proud to have been the recipient of several picture framing awards, both national and international, in compeitions put on by the Professional Picture Framers Association.
